As a partner and head of cyber and privacy at Albrecht Burrows, I lead a team of lawyers who specialise in cyber and technology law, data protection and privacy law, data breach response, insurance law, and general commercial law. With over 25 years of experience in information security and technology and a computer science background, I combine deep technical and legal expertise to help clients navigate the complex and evolving cyber and privacy landscape.

I have a track record of delivering effective and pragmatic solutions to clients of all sizes and industries, from proactively assessing and managing cyber and privacy risks, to developing and implementing best practice data protection policies and frameworks, to responding and recovering from cyber and data privacy incidents, and assisting with technology contract disputes. I also work closely with cyber insurers and brokers to help them offer innovative and tailored cyber risk products and services to their clients and help companies with their insurance law needs. 

I hold advanced credentials in the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), European data protection practice and law, and insurance law, as well as being a Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP),  Certified Information Privacy Professional for Europe (CIPP/E) and Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM).
